Vilmantas Dambrauskas anniversary exhibition "My city posters"

In 2023 July 28th in "Prisikėlimas" Square observation building a designer, photographer, and artist from Šiauliai Vilmantas Dambrauskas presented an anniversary exhibition and the album "My City Posters".

Vilmantas Dambrauskas is a well-known artist throughout Lithuania. Over the course of more than three decades, the designer has created an innumerable number of logos, posters, presented more than 40 design, painting, photography and poster exhibitions to the public, and his works have been exhibited in Lithuania, Europe and the United States of America.

The poster creation of Šiauliai designer Vilmantas Dambrauskas spans several decades. Since his first works, the artist has grown and shaped his style by traveling on the path of experiments and bold searches. Over time, the artistic activities of Vilmantas Dambrauskas, the logos and posters he created have become cultural heritage, unique signs of the times, in which reality and dreams are still combined.

In the exhibition "My City Posters" it will be possible to see the best works of the artist: from the very first ones created back in the 20th century's end up to today's realities inspired by the latest posters of the creator. The works depict different visualizations created for various institutions or companies, in which you can feel not only the harmonious combination of pictures and language, but also the designer's technique, artistic expression and creative freedom, which have definitely changed over the decades.

The exhibition "My City Posters" will run until 2023. October 1.
