The birthday of the Šiauliai Cultural Center was celebrated in a pleasant atmosphere

In 2023 July 13th The Šiauliai Cultural Center's birthday party "Date in La La Land" was held on the shores of Lake Talkša. Surrounded by nature, the guests of the festival could listen to a concert of the Kristupas festival program, play big outdoor games, take a snapshot or simply have a peaceful picnic. The event space was decorated with a photo exhibition, where it was possible to see moments of the events organized by the Šiauliai Cultural Center, get to know the employees working at the center, and the evening ended with the tasting of an unexpected birthday cake.

On July 13, a cozy and romantic atmosphere spread along the entire coast of lake Talkša. The birthday guests gathered here had the opportunity to hear live musical program of the Kristupas Festival, which came to the city for the first time. The always original, prestigious Opus Klassik award nominee Ieva Dūdaitė (piano) and her sister, the charismatic performer Marija Dūdaitė (vocals) invited the townspeople to the "Date in La La Land" surrounded by nature. The event featured the most beautiful and sensitive works of the movie hits "La La Land" and "A Star is Born", the composer Ástor Piazzolla's "Libertango", which was played by four hands in both sessions.

At the birthday party, there was no shortage of sincere congratulations and wishes to the Šiauliai Cultural Center, which invited everyone to the celebration. The photography house community put on a real show and greeted the host of the evening loudly with drums.

During the entire event, it was possible to take photos in a photo booth specially set up for the birthday party. After capturing a moment with friends, family and pets, party guests could retrieve the snapshot immediately. On the shore of Lake Talkša, they saw the most memorable moments of the events captured in the photographs of the Šiauliai Cultural Center and photos of employees working in the institution. During the evening, there was no shortage of entertainment for children. Big outdoor games and fun soap bubble chases were waiting for them here, which were given to them by the "Most Fun Holidays" for their birthdays.

Longing for peace, they were invited to sit comfortably and have a picnic on the green lawn with live music. The highlight of the event was the original and delicious birthday cake presented to the guests of the Šiauliai Cultural Center. The colorful cupcake cake became a delicious gift from the organizers to the guests who came to the party.
