The beginning of autumn has long been considered a metaphor for the cycle of life: after an active summer, it is time for reflection, concentration and preparation for new aspirations and work. Dance, like the change in nature, symbolizes the emergence of new forces. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the ethnic culture campaign "Visa Lietuva šoka" is organized every September. The Šiauliai Cultural Center, responding to the invitation of the Lithuanian National Cultural Center, organizes the campaign "Visa Lietuva šoka" in its city. This year on September 13. Resurrection Square will once again become the largest open-air dance floor in all of Šiauliai.

Traditionally, folklore, folk and other dance groups, members of dance clubs, everyone who knows and loves Lithuanian dance are invited to the event to be participants in this promotion and to invite their friends, family members, relatives and during the promotion to dance all spectators or passers-by who have not yet experienced the joy of dancing.

According to the organizers, dancing together not only strengthens the body and spirit, but also creates a living connection with the history and culture of our nation. This event is a great opportunity to learn traditional dances, get to know the folklore treasures of your country and enjoy the joy of dancing together with others. "Dance is about nurturing our cultural heritage, strengthening community and sharing joy. Through dance, we express our identity, connect in a common circle and create unforgettable moments. We invite everyone - from small to large, from experienced dancers to beginners - to join, dance, sing and celebrate life together", says Aušra Brijūnienė, Head of the Amateur Art Department of Šiauliai Cultural Center.

The dancers will be accompanied by the always upbeat instrumental group of the children and youth folklore ensemble "Vieversėlis" of the Šiauliai School of Music School (director Arūnas Stankus).

It is hoped that the campaign "Visa Lietuva šoka" will become not only entertainment, but also an important tool that helps strengthen and nurture culture, share the joy of dance and create beautiful memories together.

The organizers point out that in case of bad weather conditions, the event will move to the entertainment hall of the Šiauliai Cultural Center "Maxas".
